Buying or selling a house

We used Pygott & Crone at Grantham to sell our parents’ house. We chose Pygotts, as we knew the Team, had worked with them before and, above all, trusted them. The sale was not an easy one – not through any fault of Pygotts or ourselves and the length of time it took was very frustrating. However Pygotts were excellent at keeping us updated and offering good advice, leading to finally getting it over the line. Would recommend.

Excellent service from the Sleaford team at Pygott & Crone. Sold our house in just a couple of weeks and guided us through the particularly tricky procedure of actually completing the process. Lucinda and Emily were very thorough in initial proceedings, giving helpful advice on marketing etc and Tina kept on top of all the important stuff dealing with all the relevant parties in a very professional manner.

Would definitely recommend them and although I hope not to move again in a hurry would certainly not hesitate to use their services again.

So, today I exchanged contracts – my house is sold.
The whole team within the Grantham office have been fantastic throughout the whole process. Luke who valued my house and offered sales advice, is professional and very approachable/helpful, Demi has been my point of contact, she has communicated quickly throughout the whole process; the viewings, the feedback and finally the sale/completion. If I needed to give a template for the ideal Estate Agent it would be modelled on Keelan Stewart in Grantham. What a work ethic he has! That coupled with an extensive knowledge of how to proceed with buying and selling. His kind demeanour and absolutely ‘nothing being too much trouble attitude’ made all interactions relaxing and informative. Any worries or concerns I had were met with ‘solutions’. Five Star!

Very efficient. Helped me through a difficult sale

We had previously tried two other estate agents to sell our deceased mum’s property and had very few viewings and were not impressed with their lack of contact with us. However from the first meeting with Davis we were very impressed with the service from Pygott & Crone. We had viewings booked from the very first week and he was in regular contact with us to keep us informed about the current market. Once we accepted an offer they remained In regular contact throughout the sale process. We cannot fault the whole team and would definately recommend them to family & friends in the future.

It would incredibly difficult to make any negative comments within this review regarding this Lettings Agency.

I’ve held off from leaving a review until I had reached 1 months tenancy within a property they manage. Leaving a review straight away, all gung-ho, can bite you in the back if something goes wrong. For me however, it’s been perfect.

Andy Jolley and Sarah Ward have supported us throughout the entire journey. Sarah primarily to begin with, as that’s her role. Then Andy has supported since we moved in.

Me and my partner had to move within an incredibly short time period, within a month if that. Sarah has been our main driving force and somehow made it happen. Given there were some things to resolve with the property, Sarah showed patience and determination to make it happen. I honestly believe she’s the reason we did not give up and go elsewhere. Updates at regular intervals, but not an overwhelming amount – it allowed us to remain well informed, at ease and prepared.

Andy has been our go to since moving into the property (as it’s his role). He’s shown pure professionalism and care for what he does. Ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and often jumping in when he didn’t need to, to help us. It shows the care for the tenants.

A main takeaway I wish to highlight is the human aspect of this company. Sounds odd I know. I’ve spoken to to other lettings agencies and people that have been to those other options. Pygott and Crone have actual emotions, care and compassion. Andy and Sarah demonstrated time and time again that they see us than more than a client in their CRM. Their emails remain professional but have a personal touch consistently.

I do believe they are the best option to go for regarding lettings. I’ve heard amazing thing from colleagues regarding their team that handle property sales too.

We purchased a property marketed through Pygott and Crone and found them excellent to deal with, even though they weren’t acting on our behalf. In particular, Lauren and Jonathan at the Grimsby office were incredibly helpful and efficient – nothing was too much trouble for them. I doubt our purchase would have proceeded as smoothly without their efforts. Not often you can say this about an estate agent, but we give them a 5-star rating!

Due to the length of the chain and several false starts and cancellations throughout the selling and buying process all of the Pygott & Crone staff in the Spalding and Boston offices were excellent through this very trying and frustrating time. Sue and I are very grateful for your professional and friendly attitude.
