We sold our house through Pygott & Crone in September. With the move done now I wanted to write a review to express how happy we were with the service. The Grantham team are polite and extremely efficient. Luke clearly knows his business and valued our house well to sell at a very agreeable price.
During the sale of the house the team were professional and really kept us in the loop on progress. As we neared exchange and completion it became pretty stressful but Simon was a huge help in ensuring the chain moved along and all parties were communicating to get the deal done.

Me and my partner were looking into buying our first home. We went with pygott and crone for every step of our journey, we couldn’t be more thankful for the staff.
Property viewings were brilliant let us view property twice before deciding to put and offer in. They didn’t hoover over us whilst viewing the property which is lovely. Any questions they had answers to were answered and anything they didn’t know they found out the answer and told us.
We used their mortgage advisor as well, who is fabulous, he sat and explained everything to us and we didn’t feel judge one but for not knowing information.
Once offer was accepted and process started more forward with the property, we were kept in the loop as much as they were, they informed us of every step and took the time to explain everything to us.

We are extremely grateful for the staff involved with our property and they were extremely helpful at every step.

Our experiences with Pygotts team in Grantham have been nothing but positive. The sale of our property went very smoothly but further on in our chain things were not and Demi ensured that things kept moving on our purchase which took a lot of liasoning with our sellers estate agent. We dealt mainly with Demi, who was an absolute star, but also dealt with Thomas on occasion who also deserves praise for his calm and reassuring manner. The way the team work together meant that there was always someone to talk to who knew what was going on in the process. Well done for getting us over the line. I cannot praise Tom from Pygott & Crone Grantham enough for helping me with my move
I cannot comment on how well they market and sell properties as I was a buyer, but selling your property is only a tiny fraction of what has to happen to get a move over the line.
Despite being the estate agent for the vendors he was always willing to get through to my solicitors and move things along, manage expectations and getting us a successful exchange. He is patient and does what he says he will, which in my experience isn’t always the case.

I would highly recommend them.

I have had such a positive experience with Pygott & Crone, as a buyer. They, specifically Demi, genuinely went above and beyond in every step of the process and nothing ever felt too much of an ask. In some ways it felt like Pygott & Crone were coordinating everything in the chain for me; chasing solictors and giving me daily updates. Despite not being the estate agent selling my house (which I wish they had been)!
This was my first experience selling & buying and I think without Demi, I would have felt very lost. Pygott & Crone had that personal touch, which from my experience and word of mouth is hard to come by, as most estate agents make you feel like it’s just another transaction.

I also used their mortgage advisor Mark, who again made me feel like no problem was too big and I felt like I could call him about anything. He was also really good at talking things through without using technical jargon.

Excellent experience overall. They were prompt in coming, viewing and valuing the property. Photograpghs were brilliant. Sale took a while to happen, but happened in the end.
