Many people wait until the New Year to put their property on the market, thinking that most buyers will not start looking until after the first few weeks of January. However, many of the UK’s property portals report a rise in the number of people visiting their websites over Christmas.

Indeed a recent survey amongst Relocation Agent Network estate agents (including us!) found that nearly all respondents (87%) recommend that sellers put their house on the market before Christmas. And with nearly half of respondents (46%) predicting that there will be up to a 10% increase in buyers in January 2016, you won’t want to miss out!
