Report on our day at the East Midlands Expo
This week we had a busy day at the East Midlands Expo – held on Monday (9 Oct) at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, for property, construction, finance and investment firms to network and develop business opportunities in the region.
It was a fantastic day which saw more than 60 exhibitors attending from all over the East Midlands – ranging from property firms, developers and engineers to Chambers of Commerce and architects. We were able to meet lots of new contacts, catch up with some familiar faces and achieve some really strong leads for future potential business.
We were also proud to be able to represent Lincolnshire on the Invest Gainsborough stand – using my position on the Place Board to highlight the town’s investment opportunities and showcase what it has to offer; really bringing the programme to life.
Although we’re Lincolnshire-based our new Nottingham office is already extremely busy with new commercial opportunities coming in every day – ranging in size and value. The city itself is booming in terms of property and investment and we’re delighted to be a part of it. Through the work that’s going on collaboratively with nearby East Midlands cities across Lincolnshire as well as Derby and Leicester – as well as everywhere else in between – there’s a real excitement building around the Midlands Engine and the East Midlands’ place as part of it.
We’re delighted to be supporting the growth of the region and encouraging an increasing amount of inward investment in the East Midlands and events like the East Midlands Expo are ideal for us to show what we can do in terms of supporting the region’s property market.
Now we just need to sort out all 100 of the business cards we acquired throughout the day – and prepare for MIPIM UK next week!
