One Thousand Items of Food| Published in Campaigns on 12 June 2018 by our Marketing Team

We’re delighted to announce that we are participating in a nationwide event organised by Relocation Agent Network called #OneThousandItemsofFood, supporting local Foodbanks in their bid to help tackle food poverty in the UK.

The #OneThousandItemsofFood event runs between 14 June and 21 June, Pygott & Crone and our customers will collect as many items of food and other supplies with the aim of collecting 1,000 items across the network. Pygott and Crone branches across Lincolnshire will be supporting local foodbanks and will have donation bins in each branch for anyone to call in and make a donation. Drop off your non-perishable food and non-food items at a Pygott and Crone Branch and help make a difference to your local community.

Foodbanks being supported: The Trussell Trust in Lincoln, Grantham and Boston, Grimsby Food Kitchen, Horncastle Community Larder, Sleaford Community Larder and Agape Care Foodbank, Spalding.

The last day of our fundraising event coincides with Agents Giving ‘Donate a Food Parcel Day’ on 21 June. Agents Giving is a fantastic charity that works with UK estate and letting agents and their suppliers to encourage and support fundraising activities. One in three properties receive an offer one hour after viewing

The housing market once again exceeds expectations after a poor reception from the chancellor’s mini-budget and regular talk of a possible slowdown, as current research suggests that in 2022, almost a third (31%) of properties are now receiving offers within an hour, compared to a mere 7% in 2018.
