The new office in Gothic House will be used primarily by our growing commercial department, as we seek to employ two new surveyors. This is an incredibly exciting move for Pygott & Crone as we continue to further expand our services across the Midlands – and beyond.

Through close relationships – which have formed over the course of more than 25 years in the property industry – we’re able to work collaboratively to create some really transformative deals and support Nottingham’s thriving property market.

We have been involved in some transformative schemes in Lincoln – including One the Brayford – Lincoln’s largest apartment scheme – the St John’s Village residential development of more than 100 units in Bracebridge Heath and City View – a commercial site in Lincoln city centre.

I look forward to bringing our experience, knowledge and understanding of the regional property market to Nottingham, encouraging further inward investment. There will be three members of staff based in Nottingham and we are also looking to recruit further.

It’s a great time to get into the property industry, with construction levels having recovered following the Brexit vote, the market is now performing extremely well and Nottingham in particular is booming. There are a myriad of new developments in the works across the city which is really paving the way for the future of the property and construction industry.

Pygott & Crone has recently been appointed to the Scape BECS (Built Environment Construction Services) framework to deliver surveying services to clients, enabling us to increase its national presence in a range of public sector property work.

I’m particularly proud of our appointment to the Scape framework as it’s a huge accolade and something we’ve been striving to achieve for some time.
