They will now operate with a High Street office in the popular Bramcote Lane shopping area; continuing to provide a personal service to the local community through an established team of sales & lettings agents. The Wollaton team will also be supported by the existing team at the Nottingham City Centre branch.

Established in 1991 in Lincolnshire, Pygott & Crone initially expanded into Nottingham in 2017, and in recent years has seen significant growth in both the sales and lettings divisions. As with their eight other branches in the region, a full range of services will be provided at the Wollaton branch including sales, lettings, new homes, mortgages and commercial.

Paul Wood, director at Pygott & Crone, commented “I am delighted to annouce the opening of our Wollaton branch which provides us with a significant boost in the East Midlands, and will complement our Nottingham city centre branch really well. Wollaton’s a great location to be in, with easy access to the M1 motorway and convenient free parking outside. It’s a natural extension to our existing operating area.”

“I am really pleased to welcome the Wollaton team into the Pygott & Crone family, they have done a fantastic job in providing a service to the local area to date and I look forward to the next stage of the journey”.

With this announcement, Pygott & Crone now employ over 85 people in the region across 9 branches plus an office in the City of London. All branches in the network benefit from bespoke in-house software, the latest proptech solutions, and support from centralised admin, accounts, IT & marketing teams. Paul explains: “Over the past couple of years we have reacted well to the changing landscape in the estate agency industry and developed in-house solutions to make our service more streamlined and efficient whilst retaining that essential personal service”.

Pygott & Crone remain very committed to providing excellent service to local communities and they very much believe that a local presence combined with high levels of customer service are one of the most important factors to be successful in the estate agency industry. Whilst they benefit from all of the latest technology, their success has and always will be down to the attitude, commitment and professionalism of the people that work in their teams.

Mark Brayfield, National Lettings Director at Pygott & Crone commented: “I’m really excited about the addition of the Wollaton branch which will further speed up the growth of our lettings business in Greater Nottingham.”

“Over the last 18 months we have doubled the number of properties we manage nationally through organic growth and some acquisitions. This continued growth aligns nicely with our planned expansion over the next couple of years to proactively grow our lettings business.”

Paul concludes: “We think we’ve got the optimal mix of personal service, High Street estate agency, and technology at Pygott & Crone and we’re really happy with the culture that our staff have developed over time. All in all, this is a really exciting time for Pygott & Crone”.

The address of the Wollaton branch is 158a Bramcote Lane, Wollaton, NG8 2QP. You can find further information here.
