MIPIM UK 2017 – we came, we saw, we conquered
I’m very pleased to report that we’ve had another successful year at MIPIM UK – which was held at Olympia, London between 18 – 19 November. The two day event is attended by the country’s top property professionals, giving delegates the chance to network, learn, do business and invest.
Taking inspiration from its French sister event, MIPIM UK this year was attended by hundreds of top businesses from across the UK – looking to do business, seek investment and hoping to continue to power the British economy through meaningful property deals.
We managed to secure some more work in the capital which will be coming to fruition very soon – from commercial to residential as well as some surveying and sale and acquisition work. Our London office is busier than ever and we work hard in the South to promote inward investment and Lincolnshire as a region in which to live, work and play.
MIPIM UK is a great opportunity for us to do business but it’s also a perfect opportunity to act as a Lincolnshire ambassador on a national stage. This year, we – along with Gleeds – hosted a hugely successful Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Programme (GLLEP) dinner whereby we showcased the best Lincolnshire has to offer over a three course dinner in the city.
We were honoured to be joined by Georgie Twigg, Olympic gold medallist from Lincoln, who has competed as part of the country’s hockey team at two Olympic Games. Her speech was truly inspirational and we’re delighted that she’s flying the flag for Lincolnshire.
Now it’s time to start getting ready for Cannes!
