We are currently on our way to the capital for MIPIM UK, and I am always excited by the fantastic opportunities that it so often offers.
2017 has been a strong year for the Midlands, and I can’t wait to share the good news with my real estate colleagues at Olympia Hall in London at this year’s MIPIM UK, which is a two day event attended by thousands of property professionals from across the UK.

Given Pygott & Crone’s established position in London, our Relocation Agent Network (RAN) membership and our solid insight into the evolving Midlands market, MIPIM UK is an ideal opportunity for us to showcase just how amazing the East Midlands is to potential investors and agents.
This year, we’ve seen more developers from the South looking towards the Midlands and, as a Lincolnshire-based agency, we have witnessed the positive impact investment has had both across the region first-hand.
It’s been fantastic to see the Lincolnshire economy booming as a result, and we have a longlist of exciting developments in the pipeline off the back of it. Whether it’s great value for money residential homes or our booming business sector, there is certainly something for everyone in our home county.
Joining thousands of estate agents from all over the world is also fascinating as it gives us a fresh perspective on current trends, and allows us to think differently about our own attitudes towards the property sector, considering our place as part of the UK-wide market.
I’ll be making sure I visit some of the excellent panel discussions as well, they provide an invaluable insight into our ever-evolving sector and I’m sure we will come away with some ways of improving our own methods of practice. We are always looking to improve and learn, and these events are a brilliant way learning how best to evolve within the property sector.
Most of all, I’m looking forward to representing Lincolnshire and Pygott & Crone over the next couple of days. Events like these are a fantastic way for us to communicate how exciting the region is and what a fantastic place it is to live, work and invest – I just hope I’ve taken enough business cards!
