Race for Life

Sue Shaw and Lisa Harmon from Pygott & Crone are this year running the 10km Race for Life at RAF Waddington on 23rd May 2010. This is Sue's first Race for Life and she aims to raise as much money as she can for her friends, family and anyone that has been affected by this dreadful condition. Sadly many people do not survive, however, due to the research that events like this make possible, many have survived and others continue to fight! I am running this race for a close friend whose fight and determination, I can only admire.

Lisa on the other hand is running the Race for Life for the 9th time, although it will be the first time she has done it as 10km and not 5km. Lisa has had several family members who have sadly lost the battle to this disease and this year she is raising money for her cousin; Lexine who is fighting the battle against bowel cancer and wants Lexine to know this one is just for her!
