Lincolnshire Property & Business Investment Show
A GROUND-BREAKING event showcasing everything Lincolnshire has to offer to investors, developers and growing businesses took place on Wednesday, April 14th at the EPIC Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground.
The event will provided a shop window for professional service providers looking to meet potential property and business investors. Its format has been based on the highly successful November East Midlands Show which has been held in Nottingham for the past 10 years.
Organiser Martin Freeman said: "After a challenging year for all business sectors there's an opportunity for Lincolnshire to lead the way in moving out of recession. "The past 18 months have been a tough period for all investors, particularly in the property and business sectors, but we can now see a spark of activity. "Certainly all indicators suggest that Lincolnshire is moving ahead of the competition in providing great product and investment return opportunities in an improving market."
The show included an exhibition featuring the key players who will help to kickstart investment in the county, from banks, solicitors and accountants to investment locations, chartered surveyors, property agents, construction consultants, architects and marketing and PR consultants.
Invest Lincolnshire delivers a range of services that promote Lincolnshire as a place to live, work, invest and visit. It is a partnership of Lincolnshire County Council, the seven Lincolnshire district councils, Lincolnshire Enterprise and local intermediaries including property agents and developers.
Will Downing, of Pygott & Crone, said: "This is our first year at the event and it is a relatively cheap way to get your business in front of a large number of visitors. "We had staff available to answer questions and took along brochures advertising land and property that we are marketing and it turned out to be a very successful event indeed. "
