Your consultant should be able to get you an Agreement in Principle within 15 minutes and issue you with a Mortgage Certificate confirming your ability to purchase up to an agreed figure.

Mortgage Administration Centre

We believe that submitting your mortgage application is just the start and therefore have a dedicated processing team to reduce the time it
takes for you to obtain your mortgage offer. Your individual point of contact will update you regularly on the progress of your mortgage eitherby phone, email or sms text - whichever is best for you. Having received your mortgage offer, our processing team will be in regular contact with all parties to aim to get you moved sooner. We all know the longer a sale takes the increased likelihood of problems, and therefore we will immediately notify you of any outstanding information to minimise delays.

What if?

As hard as we try, not everything goes as planned. In the event of problems with moving, such as specialist reports being required, we will arrange these as quickly and efficiently as possible.

In the worst case scenario of a purchase not going ahead due to one of the following reasons:-

* Gazumping - or vendor withdrawal
* Adverse Valuation or Land Charges Search - property downvalued by more than 5%
* Change in Circumstances - death, bereavement, company relocation or redundancy

Buyer's Protection Insurance from Legal & General can cover you for up to £600 of fees incurred. Settlement is in the form of a voucher for up to £600, to be used against the costs of your next purchase.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
